Carpenter Interior Design Consultant
Completed 12+ short term renovation projects throughout San Francisco Bay Area. Redesigned and reconstructed homes to meet historic integrity of original structures as well as faux finishing to create atmospheres of historic likeness. Projects included design, frame carpentry, fine woodworking reproductions and installation, antique floor installation and finishing, as well as faux finish painting, and custom cabinetry.
August 2000 – October 2005
Sub-contractor/ Interior Design Consultant
Completed 15 full historic renovations in Richmond Virgina’s Church Hill district, as well as 50+ short term renovation projects throughout Virginia. Redesigned and reconstructed homes to meet historic integrity of original structures as well as faux finishing to create atmospheres of historic likeness. Furniture Design and Refinishing
Design and construction of custom farm tables, end tables, built in cabinetry, kitchen islands and shelving units as well as the refinishing of antique furniture.

Window Display and Construction Project, Color Consultant - New College Green Living Center
Creative consultant for development ground floor window presence for the New College Green Living Center. Designed and constructed 2 full window display kits, 95% of the materials used in this project have been reclaimed bay area dumpsters, street corners and hauling companies.

Set Design and Construction Project
Creative consultant for development of sets to Company Mechanique dance theater Worked with Choreographer to design and construct full sets for piece based on e.e.cummings poem. 85% of the materials were reclaimed for this construction project. A

Creative consultant for Marketing and Promotional Materials.Designed and constructed identity and packaging, and promotional materials for San Francisco based musician Alden Schell.

Set Design and Construction Project
Creative consultant for development of sets to the film “Boys Knife”. Designed and constructed full sets for film. 85% of the materials were reclaimed for this construction project. All lumber was milled from fallen timbers on location.

Freelance Design Project
Creative consultant for Marketing and Promotional materials to the film The Snowflake Crusade. Designed and constructed packaging , promotional books for film festivals.

Architectural Revival Co-founder
Designed and constructed functional art from salvaged archictectural details. Sold at Richmond Virginia’s Farmer’s Market and various Richmond boutiques.

Graphic Designer/ Finisher- Presentation Resource Inc.
Graphic Design: Conceived and created a variety of design solutions that best fulfilled the clients communication and marketing needs, including large format sinage, interior wall hangings, tradshow graphics, 3-d exhibiton designs, banners, illustration, photography, comping and Presentation Resource promotional and marketing material. Followed work from conceptual stages to printed product. Worked closely with the maintenance of large format printers. Prepared files for service bureau work.Effectively managed high volume fast paced work environment with strong emphasis on efficiency and detail while meeting deadlines and establishing strong working relations with clients.
Finishing: Worked closely with clients to prepare printed materials for
presentations, including laminating, trimming, mounting to a variety of
substrates, framing and packaging. Assisted in the construction and
installation of graphics as well as exhibition hardware.

Freelance Design Project
Completed package design for the cd, Wellwater, including booklet and tray card. Completed alternative package design for cd , Dishwasher’s Union, for Richmond based musician Kim Litkenhaus. Released summer 2000.
